How It Works

  • Microdroplet injections: Tiny amounts of crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA), combined with a small amount of lidocaine for comfort, are injected just under the skin (intradermally), primarily in the cheeks.
  • Unlike traditional fillers meant to add volume, Skinvive works to improve your skin’s quality: texture, hydration, smoothness.

What to Expect

Treatment time
Approximately 15 minutes per session.

Downtime / Recovery
Minimal. You may have redness, swelling, tiny bumps, tenderness or mild bruising at the injection sites. These usually resolve within about a week.

Some smoothing and hydration may be visible right away; full glow, smoothness, and hydration improve over several weeks.

Safety & Aftercare

  • Skinvive contains lidocaine, so discomfort is minimized.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and alcohol for the first 24 hours after treatment.
  • Avoid applying makeup for ~12 hours post-treatment (unless the provider advises otherwise).
  • If you have a history of severe allergies (especially to lidocaine or bacterial proteins used in hyaluronic acid preparations), or are pregnant / breastfeeding, consult your provider.
